| Barry Kelsey, the leader of 'EZ Street Band',
is a multi talented musician playing tenor sax, flute, piano, and singing.
He started his professional career as a U.S. Navy musician,
touring the world and playing Jazz. After the Navy he attended the Berklee
School of Music in Boston.
There he studied the Saxophone with famed teacher Joe
Viola. Later after getting a BME, he attended North Texas University, working
on his Masters in Music Degree.
He taught Jazz there and played with the world famous
"One O'Clock" Jazz band. His professional credits include working regularly
with the bands of Rich Matheson, Don Jacoby, Maurice Anderson, and Billy
Joe Walker Jr.
Barry was signed as a song writer, singer by MGM Records
whle a member of the recording band "Montage". Barry also performed as
a studio musician for Jingles and is on more than a hundred Christian and
Pop Albums.
Now living in Florida, Barry has his band 'EZ Street'
and also works regularly with the bands 'Sax Appeal', Don Casper Quartet,
Richard Stratton's Jazz band, Trio Dolce' (a classical trio led by Richard
Stratton) and the Lamp Lighters Big Band.
